The vast majority of flat roof failures occur at outlets, flashings, perimeters and gutters, where workmanship is most critical. Sarnafil single layer installation is simpler than multi-layer roofs so the risk of failure is minimal.
Perimeter details are made from Sarnametal, onto which the main roof is welded - forming a PVC waterproof envelope to the roof that is also storm resistant.
Sarnafil is dimensionally stable - it does not shrink or crack, and does not exhibit problems associated with expansion and contraction from temperature change.
All laps and joints are welded for maximum strength - no weak points like normal bitumen felt.
It has a 10 or 15 year guarantee which is insurance backed, including cover for consequential loss.
