Sarnafil is a maintenance-free membrane with a life expectancy of 30 years. This product is so good that it's even been used on the British Standards Institute building.
The vast majority of flat roof failures occur at outlets, flashings, perimeters and gutters where workmanship is most critical. Sarnafil single layer installation is simpler than multi-layer roofs so the risk of failure is minimal.
Perimeter details are made from Sarnametal, onto which the main roof is welded - forming a PVC waterproof envelope to the roof that is also storm resistant.
Sarnafil is dimensionally stable. It doesn't shrink, it doesn't crack and it doesn't exhibit problems associated with expansion and contraction from temperature change.
All laps and joints are welded for maximum strength so there are no weak points like normal bitumen felt.
It also has a 10 or 15 year guarantee which is insurance backed including cover for consequential loss.
